I love where I live

Although I am away from family and friends.... I really do love where I live. CA took some getting used to, but I have REALLY, only recently; started to enjoy CA and the weather, since the Spring here is beautiful! I think I needed to move off the military base in order to do that. Anywho.... so, as I was studying and such this past week (that is a HUGE blog that frankly I have no energy to write about) I was ecstatic to see:

Yes... they are peacocks!!! If only they would show their feathers..... (the second pic is looking out my kitchen window!) I guess they were "hopping" on my driveway, before they ventured down the street..... Only in CA, right? :) The males have prettier feathers, don't they? I wanted to get closer, but knowing my luck they would be the only rapid-peacocks in the free world, and would attack my stupid ass with the camera....
