Draft Day

Hi... yes, my husband informed me that he will be "unavailable" due to the NFL draft being on for 2 days...... now, as you are probably thinking... 2 big things wrong with that: 1) Honey, please don't TELL me when you are unavailable... we discuss what you'd like to do and then go from there..... 2) ALL damn day?

Yes, the draft is 2 whole days....... 32 teams, and the first round --> each team uses up about 10 min (used to be 15) ... so that equals 32 minutes, plus 5 min each commentary on that pick..... so, we'll say about 2 hours for the 1st round..... WITHOUT COMMERCIALS..... then the 2nd round and subsequent rounds are 5 min each * 32 teams = ALL DAMN DAY!!!! Then the second day are rounds 3 - 7....

Well, I was thinking how dumb, but this is his life and he loves it, so I am supportive..... but now that we're watching it..... it is sorta interesting.... a lot of strategery goes into these picks.... they weigh out --> money, skill, available positions, time left to contract, coaching staff relate-abilities, etc, etc..... it is quite intriguing....

Do you think Zach will convert me fully? :) HAHAHAHAHA..... I will have to eventually get converted 100% once he does become a full-blown coach..... when I'm sitting in the box seats with the other coaches wives (I am assuming they'll be catty and pompous.... stereotypical of me, I know...) and don't want to look like the "loser" wife..... GOD forbid, if I have a life other than what my husband does, right? :)

Does your significant others rope you into whatever they love? And is it ok? Is it ok to fight back? I don't plan on flighting back, just curious if other relationships have the men in them plan an entire day around something on TV / a hobby :)
